Description
Here's A GREAT Camera for a Student in a Basic Digital Photography Class, or for a DSLR First Timer or as a Back-up for yourself! If you're just going to be a casual shooter, don't buy new and expensive--- Get a Bargain here. Just my opinion as a semi-retired professional and a 20-year college instructor in photography. This one is a Nikon DIGITAL SLR Camera (DSLR) from about 10 years ago--- a basic but well constructed model--- and it takes Great Photos! The D3000 Camera body with a Nikkor 18-55mm AF-S DX VR Zoom lens, Strap, a Battery (not sure how good it is) & Charger & 4 Gig memory card, and a Nice Tamrac 3536 Bag for it all. It's a 10 Megapixel Max camera, which will give you plenty big images that are tons better quality photos than most phones. It's all in Excellent Condition--- Cosmetically and Everything Working well. The body has only very faint blemishes--- nothing broken or askew. The lens is also in Excellent condition--- it's Used, feels a little wonky sometimes, but it seems to be working fine. A great Complete Outfit that is Ready to Shoot. The Shutter Count is 7710, (which is about 7.7% of it's rated life.) So there's LOTS of Life to it left--- so you can shoot like crazy! Technically.... I'm not a camera store technician, but I know cameras fairly well. I did some test shooting in the back yard, and everything seems fine and the image quality is great! The lens is also in Excellent condition as well--- fairly clean with sharp coatings, the only detriment is a few specs of dust that won't do anything. Other than that--- no problems that I can see---- see the last three photos for shots taken just today (just before I wrote this.) Sorry, No Manual but there is a quick-start sheet in Spanish (and you can find a manual online). It comes with a really Nice Tamrac Bag--- gotta be a $40 value right there. Continental US Shipping will be $14.50. I will ship the next day after purchase. It will be packed well and safe--- strong box, lots of tape! International Shipping via the ebay program. PLEASE READ THIS --- By Buying you Agree with this--- I am not a store like Amazon. I'm just an old camera collector/shooter selling some Used items. If you read all of the description you'll see I took the time to check out the item and give you an honest description. But that said, and because eBay sux, I can't have things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping" either. I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken. But I can't "Bench Test" everything to factory specs, and understand every little bell and whistle. So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval--- it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyer's Remorse, No Try-outs, No Returns. Unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when it's a used 10 or 15+ year old item! (and if it was brand new the price would be double) Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it. As expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder... but they won't affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect. If it's junk or even "C" Grade... I won't sell it! But.... I can't let people buy something, play with it, break it and then say it arrived that way. I'm an honest guy, but there are many buyers who aren't. What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown. SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE Interesting Items---- I'll be selling a large portion of my camera collection over the next few months, so check back and/or tell me what you're looking for. If you have questions about this or other items or combined shipping or other discounts---- please ask... Let's make a deal. Thanks
