This is a Kodak DSC 200 ci Digital Camera Back. This was the second model that Kodak designed. A pretty scarce item. Comes with matching Nikon N8008s body. From a local storage unit from a company that went out of business years ago. Read details below before bidding . Cosmetics-The digital back has some surface rubbing wear, coating loss, and chips in the coating in areas. The right end gold connection pin tends to stick inward and has corrosion. It will pull out stiffly but does not spring like the rest of the pins. The rear bottom edge area has some former label residue. The battery holder and compartment are clean otherwise. The Nikon body has some general surface rubbing wear, coating loss, and the viewfinder has some specs. Operationally they are mostly not working or erratic. They both do power up. When I first installed batteries in the digital back the hard drive spun and ran for a few seconds. Then after that it never made a sound again. No response. The back display will come on when you push the shutter button half way down. So it does seem like they are communicating on some level. The display though is hard to read and a good amount of the sectors are dim. See photo. The Nikon body does power up but is erratic. Sometimes it would focus a lens and the shutter would fire. But again no sound from the hard drive. Other times the shutter fired on its own without me doing anything. Just acted like it has issues. So this is just being sold as a collectable display item.
