Brackets are a full 3/16 inch thick to give that extra measure of security. Brackets are polished to a mirror finish and will not rust. Brackets fit very snug in Ozark Trail coolers keeping it from falling out when washing cooler out with lock not in place. Save when buying two sets at a time. We use two sets to secure our coolers to a 4 wheeler rack. Using two gives double the security and keeps the cooler from sliding around. We ship via USPS Priority mail to the United States only.
